Mirrors
Mirroring (the term I use to describe it) has been a consistent technique I’ve dabbled in throughout my photo life. It starts with seeing an image that might look interesting if it was mirrored against itself — something involving patterns and repetition that might make a good starting point. I then duplicate the original file and flip the new image 180 degrees. Using a combination of photojoiner.net and Adobe products, I put the images together to make new canvases that are alive with patterns and symmetry (and occasionally things that look like faces).
