In the Winter of 2022 I was invited to the soft opening of a new beer, the Welcomed Change saison, from Pollyanna Brewing Company, in Lemont, IL. It was worked out that a portion of all sales of Welcomed Change would be donated to the Art & Culture Commission of Lemont, of which I am a commissioner.

During the event I was introduced to the owner and operators of Pollyanna and started talking all things art, beauty, community, and my desire to start weaving all of these elements together. It so happened that Pollyanna Brewing was near completion of Pollyanna Social, a new venture that would concentrate on making craft cocktails, and they had not done anything about artwork.

I showed the Pollyanna folks a few collections of my photo work and we decided the photographs below would work well in the space. An affinity for black and white imagery, all taken within a 15-mile radius of the establishment. We shared a passion for creating the culture in which we inhabit and having an impact on our immediate spaces.
